Delete your Ellaword account
You can request permanent deletion here even if you no longer have the app. We will verify the request using the email address associated with your Ellaword account.
Request account deletion
- Use the button below from the email address registered to your Ellaword account.
- Include your username if you know it. Never send your password.
- Follow the confirmation message we send to that address.
If the button does not open your email app, email support@ellaword.com with the subject “Ellaword account deletion request”.
What happens next
After verification, deletion is scheduled with a 14-day grace period. You can cancel during that period using the cancellation link we send. After the grace period, your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Ellaword account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription in your store account to prevent future charges.
Data covered by the request
The request covers your Ellaword account, profile, learning progress, word lists, review history, uploaded personal content, and other personal data associated with the account. Limited records may be retained or anonymised where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the integrity of shared moderation records. Pseudonymous analytics already collected is not linked to your account and follows its separate retention period described in our Privacy Policy.
